2. Purpose of data processing

When you join our waiting list, we process your email address in order to send you:

  • Information about the launch of RivalRadar
  • Invitations to the beta or trial phase
  • Relevant content on competitive analysis
  • Exclusive offers or promotions

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw this consent at any time – for example via the unsubscribe link in our emails or by sending an informal message to kontakt@rivalradar.de.

3. Email service provider

For sending emails, we may use a specialised provider (e.g. MailerLite, Mailchimp or similar). This provider processes the data exclusively on our behalf and in compliance with applicable data protection regulations. Data is not passed on to third parties.

4. Server logs

When you visit our website, technically necessary data is collected automatically, such as:

  • IP address (anonymised where applicable)
  • Date & time
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL

This data is used solely for the technical provision and security of the website and is not combined with other data.

5. Cookies & tracking

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is usually transferred to a Google server and stored there. We use Google Analytics exclusively with IP anonymisation enabled, so that your IP address is shortened within the EU or the EEA.

Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings on our website. Further information on how Google uses data can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Storage period

Your email address remains stored until you unsubscribe from the mailing list or the purpose no longer applies. It is then deleted within a reasonable period.

7. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

  • Access to your stored data
  • Rectification of inaccurate data
  • Erasure of your data
  • Restriction of processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdrawal of your consent
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

8. Changes

9. Contact form

When you write to us via the contact form, we process your name, your email address, optionally your company and your message in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (enquiries relating to a possible contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

The message is delivered to our mailbox via the email service Resend. Resend processes the data exclusively on our behalf.

We delete your details once your enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
